This is the trigger switch for a harbor freight "Portland" brand electric chainsaw. Guess which part of it likes to break? That's right... the smaller arm that comes off the piece at 90º. When that happens, one would be left with a non-functioning chainsaw.
Now for anyone with such chainsaw issues (and access to 3D printing), here's a spare part for you. One image shows the part itself, and the other shows a natural-PLA version installed in the chainsaw... looking like a normal trigger.
Hopefully you still have the original spring. Place that into the hole on the bottom of this part when installing. As to infill... whatever you desire. I just figure more material leads to more longevity, but there may be a plus to having some hexagonal structure inside.
