Happy Light - Glücklicht

Hi everybody,
this a set of lights for my living room. They are games of words in German - a mixture of the words happy and light and of the words relax and light.
The spheres are quite tricky to print. No way to escape support structures... Printing with an angle can help at times.
You will need some hardware: Aluminum circles (diameter 9cm, 3-5mm thick) and aluminum tubes (diameter 10mm), half a meter long each.
In addition you will need some electronics:
I bought mine from LEDS.DE, but others are probably as fine. They have this stylish cooler, that looks like a sun. In addition they have a set of high power leds on star-pcbs, which dissipate the heat quickly to the stylish cooler.
For those two parts, the LED-holder is designed. Just make sure you select an LED that is bright enough AND has a high opening angle, as you have to light almost the whole sphere.
They also have this micro 1 Amp Current source, which in my case is connected to a 12V Voltage source. The black thingy with the not-so-stylish cooler right below the "sun".
The "halbkugel" is only there to carry the weight of the whole struture.
I didn't bother to include snap-ins or so - so you just have to glue everything together the oldschool way.
Have fun with it! If you have any questions... just ask...
