El half moon clip loader, es una herramienta indicada para poner los cartuchos en el clip half moon solamente. En este caso se trata de los clip para 45 acp, que se usan en los Colt New Service o S&W New Century mod. 1917 y los actuales que usan half moon para capsulas rimless.-
Para el armado, se requiere el uso de tornillos, arandelas y tuercas y un resorte tal como se ve en una de las imagenes.-
