The fungus was first named in 1800, by mycologist Christian Hendrik Persoon, as Helvella esculenta, and gained its current accepted binomial name when the Swedish mycologist Elias Magnus Fries placed it in the genus Gyromitra in 1849. The genus name is derived from the Greek terms gyros round and mitra headband Its specific epithet is derived from the Latin esculentus, edible.
The model was obtaines using photogrammetry so espetialy good textures where captured. Delighting was performed to get cleaner color texture. Includes normal maps, height map, Ambient oclussion map, and extra bump map.
Metalness and rufness are mabe out of bump map, so one can just use blaack / whte color if need be.
