This tool is to remove the inner ring on Grohe Showerheads and Hand-helds, models:
27 130 Rainshower Rustic 160 4-Spray Showerhead
27 135 Rainshower Cosmopolitan 160 4-Spray Showerhead
27 085 Rainshower Cosmopolitan 160 Hand-Held - 4 Sprays
It may also fit other models.
The shower heads start to leak at the edges. The head is held together by a single phillips screw which eventually loosens. The screw is located behind the center massage ring, which is nearly impossible to remove without a tool. Place this tool over the holes, press down firmly, and turn counter-clockwise. Once the screw is exposed, tighten it and reassemble showerhead.
This is my first attempt at designing anything, so hopefully it works for you as well as it did for me.
