The Great Northern Depot in downtown Fargo, ND, was built in 1906, designed by St. Paul architect Samuel Bartlett. The style is Richardsonian Romanesque. The depot was later used by Amtrak until 1986, when it was left empty and in disrepair. In 1995, the depot underwent major remodeling and repairs, becoming 12,680 square-feet of restaurant space. After housing several restaurants, it is now retail space for the Great Northern Bicycle Co.
