Portimau Algarve Circuit-The third race of the inagural 2010 GPWS season sees another new team enter, Espana Racing. Bruno Senna gives home team ORT its first pole. Newportman's Matthew Wood starts second.------Alvaro Parente wows his home crowd with a masterful display to win the Portuguese Grand Prix. He worked his way through from 5th to lead on the 20th lap, dominating from then on. Spaniard Juan Vila once again shows his exciting side by passing several cars en route to second. Alexander Rossi ges his first points and the American Bondovic squads first podium with third. Giancarlo Fisichella finally scores points in fourth, with Bourdais in 5th. Matthew Wood has a disappointing race and drops down to sixth, despite setting fastest lap, with poleman Bruno Senna fighting his way through the field after a spin on the first lap to finish 7th. James Jones, Ho-Ping Tung and Sebastien Flier all score there first top 10's, due to an early safety car playing into their hands. Audi has a disastrous weekend, with both drivers clashing on first lap, causing Rockenfeller to retire.-----Matthew Wood leves Portugal with a much slimmer series lead, with Newportman dominating the Team battle.
