Silverstone-The 9th race of the season sees the series move to Britain for the first of 2 Grand Prix in the country. There are more driver changes before the event with Alan Percival getting his Ferrari seat back, Adam Carroll replacing Grosjean at Techno due to bad results, Julien Jousse stepping in for Tung, after Congfu raced in Canada and Marc Gene replacing the ill de la Rosa at Espana. Matthew Wood puts a few bad races behind him and takes pole for his home race.---Matthew Wood wins both the English GP and the BRDC International Trophy by beating championship rival Fisichella in a close, but mainly processional race. Bruno Senna lead the first 20 laps, yet a poor pitstop meant he completed the podium. Felixamir Bondovic put some life into the race by pulling off numerous manoeuvres to get 4th from 18th. Mike Rockenfeller again had a bad start, yet still finished in the top 5. Newportman-Mercedes driver Juan Villa showed he is recovering from a few bad races by finishing behind the Audi driver in 6th. Lotus seem to be on the up, after Sebastian Flier got 7th, ahead of Honda driver Sato. Parente got 2 points for 9th, but was lucky not to penalised after a clash with Davidson at the Arena hairpins. Robert Sinate got 10th after spinning early on. Adam Carroll got fastest lap on his GPWS debut for Techno Racing, he took 11th place.--- Fisichella and Wood are tying on 105 points, Bondovic lead the Constructors championship.
