Here's a cupholder for all you cyclists and motorcyclists. It was designed using openscad to fit this AmazonBasics chest mount. If you have a different mount feel free to modify the design or give me some measurements and I can add a new verison.
PRINTING
I only used 20% infill with 3 walls. The reason being most of the force is applied to the mount (which is small enough that it's 100% infill) and the support arm which when used applies force perpendicular to the layer lines.
Obviously the way I printed it looks ridiculous, flipping it upside down is the best idea, but I had issues with removing supports from the go pro mount, so do what you think is best.
CUPS
So far I have tested:
7-Eleven slurpee cups (regular size)
Taco bell (regular size)
If you have tested it successfully with any other drinks, please leave a comment so I can add it to the list.
If you have a cup that doesn't fit feel free to make a remix or leave a comment with some dimensions so I can make an alternate version.
Example Usage
Here's a video showing it's usage. Because of the elastic straps it can shake during use when going over bumps and such. I haven't had any issues with drinks spilling so far. The more you tighten the straps the less shaking you'll get.
