GLADIUS Microbiological Filter Face Mask by Kvatthro

The greatest problem in trying to come up with a face mask to offer some form of protection from the new Coronavirus is sourcing adequate, and tested filter material.
We've managed to overcome this problem by utilizing the Microbiological filter, such as this one:https://www.intersurgical.com/products/airway-management/clearguard-range-medium-efficiency#1544007
The filtration capability of this filter far exceeds the majority of face mask available at the moment and could prove a very scalable way of addressing the critical face mask shortage
The internal grill is intended for enabling the placement of a moisture absorbing material.
We've used PLA filament in our testing so far, especially for it's supposed relative non-toxicity, in regard to most other materials.
At this moment, only the male size is available publicly.

We realize and admit fully, that this is a prototype, and should be considered as such.
Testing and certification of this face mask, from all aspects, from production, assembly, fitting and reusability, is currently under-way. It should be repeated that user/manufacturer of this mask assumes ALL RESPONSIBILITY for, including, but not limited to manufacturing, modifying the design, fitting procedures, disinfection procedures, wear, use.
Also, it is not the purpose of this project to replace official certified medical equipment, but to offer an additional alternative in the dire situation.
