Geoboard with removable pins. Geoboards are used for a rich variety of mathematical explorations in K-8. In this design, the pins are removable. Therefore, it a pin gets broken in use, it can be easily replaced. Also, this design allows for multiple uses of the geoboard. For example, one can print pins in various colors and use them to model triangular numbers (1, 3, 6, 10, ...) or odd numbers (1, 3, 5, 7, ...). Kids can, of course, find other ways to play with them!

If the pins are printed with the holder, you can remove them by pushing at the bottom. If a pin is hard to remove, you can use a screwdriver to push from the top. Be careful not to hurt your fingers! Alternatively, the pins, holder, and the tray can be printed separately for later assembling. For resolution, one between 0.1mm to 0.2mm seems to be fine. An infill of 5% to 50% can be used, depending on the preferred durability.
