Like the title says, this is Gelu, and he means buisiness. Since he shares many of his components with Strakk, I found it necessary to make a slew of upgrades. For example, I changed the cylindrical tines of the Thornax to conical ones, and added the spiky explosion behind it. I also made slight adjustments to his thigh/shoulder pads. Still, the sad truth is that he looks ridiculously thin when viewed from the side. This is especially evident on his legs, which look unbelievably absurd from the side, and resemble baggy cargo pants from the front. Of course, the actual model suffers from the same effect, so I can blame the design flaw on TLG (The Lego Group). Also, doesn't it look like he has sideburns and rabbit-ears? Anyway, I plan to continue modeling glatorian whenever I get some spare time, and I will try to crank out Tarix and/or the Strakk upgrade I promised before school resumes in September. #bara_magna #bionicle #gelu #glatorian #ice #ice_slicer #ice_tribe #iconox #legends #thornax
