Hi all,
this is my personal version of the Geeetech prusa I3X acrylic, named MK2. I used some parts found on thingiverse and I've adapted it to my needs. other parts was my personal design.
The Z carriage were taken from this thing: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1103976, while the strap tensioner and endstop are my design.
The Y for Double Filament is my design based on the idea of this thing: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2444687
The support for the 2 extruder motors is my design and has a hinge so that it can be rotated to fit the filament, the bottom of this extruders is designed to fit the pinion so that the filament can be easily inserted.
The extruder X carriage is entirely my design except for the back part, printed from this thing: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:184933. It has a bed leveling probe with an optical switch and a carbon rod, very accurate in the measurement. The fan for cooling the molded part and the fan for the J-head. I inserted 3 leds behind the extruder to light up the printed part.
The printing area has been enlarged using a glass of a 24x30 frame and an heated bed of 216x316 obtained a useful 220 x 260 x 200h printing area.
Extensions for the original Y carriage are my design.
A fan was attached to the chassis frame to cool the GT2560 and finally, the threaded rods are of trapezoidal type with 1mm pitch.
Have fan and a good print!!!!
