These clips fit on the z-axis shafts under the aluminum bushings, and apply slight pressure to the top z-axis lead screws to help reduce machine vibration.
These clips help wear in z-axis lead screw brass follower nuts, and reduce noise of half-step mode high-torque steppers. Note, z-wobble on the early Prusa i3 were often related to x-axis acceleration in firmware, print speed oscillations, and printer construction rigidity.
