Here is my approach on building a hybrid retro-gaming console with a Raspberry Pi 3.
This build is based on Adafruit's guide for their PiGRRL 2: https://learn.adafruit.com/pigrrl-2/overview
Since their case did not fit my needs, I've designed my own in Fusion 360.
I've modeled the case in such a way, that it's still possible to access the HDMI-Port for playing on a TV or monitor. I also used my own set of buttons, salveged from an old toy, so you might want to change the model for it to work with your buttons.
Printing the case in PLA with 10% infill worked for me. Supports needed.
