This construction is independent and works even without MGN12 X / Z ruler rails
I designed this remix to connect the MGN12C block directly to the Y carriage, so I made Rail Holder MGN12C higher to pass the XYZ calibration of the original FW.
In addition, this variant works better than my original version, you can tighten the screws better and the Y-carriage can still be moved easily.
Either print in PLA or PETG, ABS cannot be recommended, does not offer enough flexibility.
As an indication, who uses a Bondtech extruder, requires a different firmware, since the Z-height changes from 210mm to 205mm. Or as an alternative, other Z_Tops for Bondtech, this compensates for the height difference and the original FW remains unchanged. (Https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3667401)
The printer has passed the self-test and XYZ calibration of the original FW
required parts:
2x MGN12 linear guide (364-365mm)
3x MGN12C linear block
8x M5x12mm Cylinderhead screw
6x M3x8mm Cylinderhead screw
PS. In the pictures you see a Prusa MK3 Y-axis slide for 4 bearings. Just ignore it, the whole thing works with the original Y-carriage too.
