This is my second version of a lightweight 250 FPV Racing Quadcopter.
Any suggestions? Please let me know!
Things you will need:
8x M3 Screw 14mm (for the arms)
4x M3 nuts
4x M3 8mm (for the center plate)
Print the following:
1x hull_v2
4x arms
1x midplate
1x hull_top (with support)
In the front there is a mount for the pz0420m fpv camera (28mm). There is also a GPS mount on the top and a mount for a Flight Controller (30,5mm). The weight of this frame is around 133.60 gramms. So it is lighter than a comparable ZMR250 frame. Finally it is also able to swim.
Hardware of my copter (I know these are some basic items):
3D printed 250mm Frame
Micro HKPilot Mega Flight Controller with Ardupilots APM 3.2 Software.
4x Multistar 2206 2150KV Baby Beast V2 Brushless Motors with
4x 12 Ampere Afro Speed Controllers (with SimonK Firmware)
4x 5030 5 inch Composite or Carbon Propellers
FrSky Reciever (Rx) with Telemetry port
?x 1300mAh - 1800mAh 3S Zippy LiPo Battery
Additional HW
LEA-6H GPS with Compass
915Mhz Telemetry Kit
5,8G Video Transmission System (FPV) with Cloverleaf antennas and ground station (i.e. + FPV Goggles)
GoPro Hero Camera
TVL600 (pz0420m ir blocked)
Flashing Lights
and more
Please note this thing is still under construction!
I will add a hole/ mount for the XT60 battery plug in the middleplate and slots for lights.
I am supposed it needs larger holes for the fpv cam.
I need a solution for mounting the top cover.
Also a carbon hybrid version would be cool.
Note!
Each hole has a 3mm diameter. On my printer M3 screws will fit perfectly. Maybe you need to adjust this size to go with your printer.
