The Spark Generation 2, shortened to Gen 2, is set to be the base car for the upcoming 2018/19 ABB FIA Formula E Championship as a replacement for the current Spark-Renault SRT_01E. Built by Spark Racing Technologies with assistance from Dallara, the Gen 2 will be the first FE car capable of completing a race distance, having been fitted with a battery constructed by McLaren Applied Technologies.
