A trough shaped coal forge designed in such a way that air can be forced up through the bottom of almost the entire length of the forge which is 6 feet long and 2 feet wide. It is designed to have the ability to heat up metal objects of all possible desired lengths for forging. It should be able to evenly heat up a 5 foot long section of a very long steel bar and any number of the ten 6”x6”x3/8” steel plates can be placed adjacent to each other along a portion of the tuyere opening in order to provide restrictions as to where the air can flow out of the tuyere opening so it can be used for smaller work. There is an air duct underneath the forge with a green blower attached to it. To control the amount of air flowing up through the tuyere opening there is a small door on the end of the air duct which can be partially opened a certain desired amount in order to allow some air to escape while some continues to flow up and out of the tuyere opening. It may be difficult even with a 3D model like this one for someone to interpret how things on the forge are supposed to be if they intend to build it. Significant prior metal fabrication and welding experience is recommended along with a thorough knowledge of how coal forges work.
