Commonly called the 'Glass House,' Ford offices moved to this building designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill in 1956. The land was originally part of Henry Ford's estate. Although the building looms over the landscape, it is only 11-floors. Because of the large amount of interior space, designers installed escalators to relieve the usual elevator congestion.
