This is a remix of thing:2917912. Unfortunately, it appears to have been removed from Thingiverse. This folding utility knife uses standard utility knife blades. The carabiner acts as a blade lock to keep the knife closed for safety.
I modified the handle to use a #4-40x1/2-inch machine screw and nut. I modified the blade holder by removing the blade screw and extending the sleeve for better support. I also added nubs inside the sleeve to act as a friction mount for the blade. To change the blade, firmly pull it out of the blade holder and insert another. Blades with a hole in the center seem to work best. (Helpful hint: if the blade is loose, a single strip of tape around the middle of the blade will take up the gap in the sleeve.) The knife uses a standard 3" carabiner.
Quick and easy print. Makes a great gift... my co-workers have already asked for one.
UPDATE: (7/23/18) Version 2. I updated the handle to give a little more room for the nut. I also made a version without the blade lock flap. I added M3 bolt versions as well. Make sure you print the corresponding handle and blade holder.
