Safety information:
Please use a filament that is somewhat safe for food, because this object will get into contact with drinks for humans.
This will not be safe against small insects or mites or their eggs. This lid is untight.
The standard glass-teapots have a lid with the purpose to keep the temperature, but not to keep insects like flies an fruit flies away, because it has a hole to let the liquid out. (Which often doesn't work properly and often causes a little flooding around the cup or glass.)
This Lid of this has no hole and thus lets no insects into the teapot. The disadvantage is, that you have to lift the lid off to pour contents.
The grip is a hole with a fillet, and the shape of the hole can be a section of a ball or a cone, it's up to your choice.
