Flush mount 2X3" leg brace designed to be mounted facing in from the outer edge of the table/cabinet or facing out from an internal pedestal. Initially designed for mounting under a wooden virtual pinball cabinet controller.
Not sure I'd want to stand on a table held up by 2X3s but it's built like a tank and should hold up fairly well under normal use.
Done up in tinkercad so the design's alignments are a bit rough but it has the exact functionality I wanted.
Images are of the V2 file. The V2 version has slightly lower side tabs which fits flush against the height of a 1X3 + 1/2" plywood.
Bolt holes (X5) designed for 1/4" carriage bolts but the square inset for them wouldn't affect a standard flush bolt head. That said, the carriage bolts worked quite well for this application.Carriage bolts secured with standard nuts + a wide(ish) flat washer and a lock washer.
Main body of the brace secured with wood screws on bottom and side.
