The nozzle of the FLSUN SR is slightly longer than the focal point of the stock fan ducts, resulting in the airflow cooling the nozzle rather than the part / extruded filament.
Whilst this hasn't had a noticeable effect on the majority of prints, this may cause some issues with high angle overhangs or longer bridges, as well as small / thinner details on certain models.
This redesigned fan duct adjusts the focal point of the air flow by adjusting the angle and length of the nozzle. It also has a slightly narrow duct to help focus the airflow.
WORK IN PROGRESS!
This fan duct is a work in progress and is currently undergoing further testing and enhancements, with the intention to eventually create three variants:
• Narrow Duct (this one)
• Wide Duct (similar to stock)
• Circular Duct (for 360 degree cooling)
