This is a sculpture made from an image. When you look at the object with a perfect perpendicular angle, you see the image appearing.
I used a 3d software, to turn all the white tones into elevations and black tones into depressions. The result was stunning, it looked like frozen landscapes, so I printed it with a powder sintering process on a 3d printing machine, and I took macro pictures.
To make the pictures more realistic, I photoshopped some hikers on it and a sky.
