Varias flores de lis
La flor de lis es el principal elemento en el logo de la mayoría de organizaciones scout. Las tres hojas o pétalos representan las tres partes de la promesa scout (deber hacia dios y la patria, hacia uno mismo y hacia los demás). Robert Baden-Powell, fundador del movimiento scout, dijo que escogió la flor de lis porque en las rosas de los vientos apunta siempre hacia adelante (arriba), nunca a derecha o izquierda, caminos que llevan de nuevo hacia atrás. Las dos estrellas de cinco puntas representan la verdad y el conocimiento, sus diez puntas aluden a las diez leyes scout. El nudo de rizo representa la fuerza del movimiento Scout Mundial y la cuerda la unidad y hermandad de los Scout alrededor del mundo, el anillo de los pétalos, la fuerza de esa hermandad.

Many fleurs-de-lis
The fleur-de-lis is the main element in the logo of most Scouting organizations. The three petals or leaves represent the threefold Scout Promise (Duty to God and Country, Duty to Self, Duty to Others). Robert Baden-Powell, the founder of the Scouting movement, explained that the Scouts adopted the fleur-de-lis symbol from its use in the compass rose because it "points in the right direction (and upwards) turning neither to the right nor left, since these lead backward again." The two small five-point stars stand for truth and knowledge. Together their ten points represent the ten original Scout laws. The reef knot or square knot represents the strength of World Scouting. The rope is for the unity of Scouts throughout the world. The ring holding the petals together represents the bond of brotherhood.
