Moreux was a master of the neo-baroque and surrealism in interior design with his stunning interiors that utililized indoor elements outdoors and outdoor elements indoors. The design of this lamp influenced Jean-Michel Frank's twising columns utilized in a surrealist interior for Elsa Scaperelli.
