This is a Tripod Mount for the Flir Exx(bx) camera series.
There have been complaints that the original tripod adapter accessory was both very expensive ($50) and yet not very stable.
Therefore created a cheap and stable version that anyone can 3D print, that fit multiple tripods, including the very common Manfrotto 200PL-14 mount plate.
The adapter has a thumbscrew wheel to secure it to the thermal imager, as well as a Velcro-strap to further stabilize it to the handle of the imager.
It uses 2pcs 3/8 -> 1/4 UNC adapters to be able to provide a metal thread for the tripods screw.
The Thumbwheel has to be threaded with a M5 thread.
[REQUIRED HARDWARE]
1 pcs M5x14 hex socket screw (insex)
2 pcs 3/8 -> 1/4 UNC adapter
1 pcs Velcro-strap (20 mm wide, ~155mm loops, ~80mm hooks)
Optionally, can place 1mm soft one-sided foam tape at the top surface and handle surface to further minimize risk of wear.
