ive got one of those fish tanks with a glass top that has an opening for maintenance and feeding but unfortunately the light which is a built in part has died, so i needed a replacement, the one that it had wasn't very good so i took the opportunity to make a better one, i had a couple of those cheap magnetic, battery powered led lights laying about so i decided to try those, they give out plenty of light and in a warm white. this is designed to enclose two lights, ive not added any slots for wiring so you can mod it to your own specs in case you want to change things about (i'll be running them with an arduino at some point to give a simulated sunrise/sunset which will mean adding some colour to the main lights).
