Some American Optical Series 10/20 microscope condensers seem to lack the basic filter slot so this is an attempt to remedy that. This was modelled after a couple of originals and has been a drop-in on the examples I have here.
You will need (3) #2-56 machine screws, 1/4" long. A little shorter will work fine, but less than 3/16" in thread length might prove insufficient. A #44 drillbit is handy to get the mounting holes perfectly sized, but not absolutely required.
There are mounting holes for the auxiliary lens, which is also a #6 screw, but the stop lug for the aux lens seems to come in two varieties, one using a #2 screw and the other a #6. This was designed to accomodate the #6 lug, but adapting to accept the #2 should be trivial.
I have been printing it at 0.10mm layer height and 70% infill.
Improvements welcome.
