You need:
1 Ammo Box (dimensions below)
A good amount of PTFE tube
Print two "filament guides"
Print two "spool holder"
1/2 Sch. 40 PVC pipe
Some glue (I used CA)
Ammo Can Box Internal Dimensions:
301 x 212 x 172 mm
Print two of the filament guides. Drill a hole on the box where you want the filament to exit. Drill a hole generous enough to fit a PTFE tube through. Glue each filament guide on either side of hole using a small length of PTFE tube inserted through the hole and both guides to help align/center the holes. You may need to scale the filament guides to fit since different PTFE tubes vary in dimensions. You want a snug fit.
You need to print two of the Spool Holders. Spool Holder needs a section of 1/2 inch sch. 40 PVC pipe. Cut pipe to approximately 160 mm in length. Assemble together. Spool holder should fit into box as shown.
Be sure to add a container of desiccant in your new dry box. I use this to store and print nylon based filaments. Enjoy.
