We had an issue with the CNC version cause the company didn't have the right material and had to machine it out of thinner plates and stick them together. Also, they didn't have the drill bits for the thin holes under 1mm diameter. So I decided to go for 3D printing in 16µ resolution with polyjet in VeroClear material. Since the material is expensive I shrenk the size of the machine and gave it another look. The base can be attached to a breadboard with M6 (or other) threaded holes, either 1'' or 25mm apart, both standards are supported. This time the machine uses a 9mm tall cutter blade, standard, and a 1,5'' tall adjusment screw with bushing. I didn't model the springs that push the blade up, they go in the 2 x 5,5mm diameter holes. #fiber #from #grooving #machine #optical #scoring #scrathing #Sesorica
