Fermentation kit for small mouth jars

I designed this for 3D printer owners just to avoid the wait for online orders. This is possible because the only thing to be purchased is available in almost every general merchandise store in the world (nipples). I've successfully fermented two jars of pickles over seven days without any mold of yeast formation. Personally, I'm looking forward to using these going forward. I will also create and post a kit for wide mouth jars soon. While the cost of factory-made fermentation products isn't cost prohibitive for one or two jars, it's easy to see where large savings could be realized when storing an entire garden. Printable items:
1 - flat lid
1 - spacer basket

Purchase items:
1 - narrow baby bottle style nipple for premature baby (tiny opening)


There are two cautionary notes.
1. Use only a food safe filament when printing this (preferably clear or natural).
2. Be acutely aware that most common 3D filaments are not dishwasher safe (drying cycle).

General project notes:
1. Please don't chastise me for the photo showing prototype parts made with brown PLA.
2. You'll want these parts to be mostly solid, use 2mm wall thickness with 10% infill.
3. No support or brim is needed.
4. Pull the nipple through the 24mm hole in the flat lid making sure it's fully seated.
