Here's what I did with Jonathan Williamson's Female Base Mesh.http://www.blendswap.com/blends/characters/female-body-character-basemesh/. A trip to Nightmare's Salon and voila... Added simple a face rig for blinking and smiling. Standard Rigify Rig. All the texturing was done with Blender Paint, except the dress pattern. Yes big file, left the 2k TGA's for you to modify.
