Felt Pad Adapter for Scandinavian Design Chair by csunwc

This adapter allows felt pads to be securely attached to my Scandinavian Design chair (style name unknown). Because the metal chair legs have an unusual oval shape, the standard felt pads in circle shapes would not fit. Furthermore, the standard felt pads would come off after repeated use because its back is not sticky enough. Therefore, I design this adapter with a recessed area to physically grab on to the back of the felt pad during side-to-side movement.
A heavy duty felt pad from Home Depot with approx. 1.5mm backing is used. Item name:

I had to cut the felt pad by hand. To get the proper shape, I also design a marking template.
Future improvement: I hope to find thicker pads. This cut-it-yourself pad is thin and may wear out quickly.
