Made for my father who had to dring sparkling water with a straw. He need to be assisted all day long and mouvements are not so easy.
drinking with usual glass with straw in the middle of the glass need good synchronisation of hands and mouth to find the straw. Looking to him I realised that the best position for the straw is not on top of the glass but on the side.
Then I designed this mug glass cup as you want with integrated straw and a feeding pipe on the side of the glass. Then it doesn't matter how he handles the glass. He can catch easily the feeding point and don't need to move or rotate the glass to drink.He just have to aspirate even with the glass vertical.
It's helping him then it could help others. Hope it will do.
Handle is designed for adult hand, if needed I can redesign for smaller hands.
Thickness is 2.4mm then 6 wall layers are mandatory to avoid linkage. adjust your settings with minimum 4 wall layers. use support for the handle only. No other support is needed.
Mine was printed in PLA then absolutly never put this glass in the washing machine, or never use it with hot water for tea as an example. It will melt and leak.
This PLA is approved for food stuff then it is ok. PLA is coming from ARIANEPLAST.
You can use also PETG from same supplier which is also Food use approved.
