Power up your video goggles with lead acid power in no time!
Yeah it's 6V! => No problem because your goggles has a 5V regulator installed!
Everything is 5V! 12V is a lie!
Maybe you don't like to have lithium batteries near your body too?
After watching a lot of lipo-explosion videos on youtube it's clear, that there is a certain risk involved by using lithium energy storage.
NimH batteries are the next choice carrying safe electrical energy in your pockets,
but you have to put them one by one into the charger. => EVERY SINGLE CELL! ONE BY ONE!
Maybe you are a lazy guy or girl and want a uncomplicated power source that recharges without a lot of effort. So the easiest way is probably a good, old, cheep lead battery.
To get a better feel for the remaining lifetime a ammeter and voltmeter on the top plate is installed. A flip switch makes unplugging any video goggles unnecessary.
Please, dont throw them away where Bambie lives!
Lead acid can cause damage to the inviroment.
These are the parts you need:
Lead battery: Multipower-mp® MP1.2-6 (or a Lead battery with the same size)
dual LED digital voltmeter ammeter
a cable for your video goggles
Some flipy switch
One XT60 plug
Some more cables
4 spare M3 screws
Have fun with it!
Print it
Sell it
Do what ever you like with this design.
Don't meantion me, thats no problem!
Its 100% free!
or... Repost it as your design! I DONT CARE!
