Fart Gun

I don't know about your family, but my family needed a fart gun. This all started when my wife told me her nephew wanted a fart gun and we learned two things. First, the awesome animated movie prop/toy didn't appear to be available anymore. Second, the only other option appeared to be a toy that SMELLED like a fart, which IMO is NOT what makes farts fun or funny.
While this was depressing in its own way, a third wonderful thing occurred that same day. I ran across the really awesome Adafruit Audio FX Sound Board, which I will provide a link to later. This device embodied everything I needed in order to take the reigns of this dilemma and win. I immediately ordered it, a few speakers to experiment with, and started designing parts and playing with different aspects of what would later become a custom super spectacular fart gun.
There is soldering involved.
But it is oh so much more than a mere fart gun. Not only can you load your own sound files via micro USB, it is rechargeable. That's right, if you build it using the parts inventory I provide in this listing, you won't have to change the batteries for a very long time.
Fair warning though, this is basically an emergency level build to get by for Christmas. There are many changes I want to make now that I have produced one of these things. Among my planned improvements are:
resized grip/handle to accommodate smaller hands.
possibly changes to create less weight so far forward.
a multi-position selector switch
various improvements to make assembly easier and more fun
Why do I need a selector switch? Because the really awesome audio board I used has 10 trigger pins which can play different sets of audio based on file names. So I could have fart noises, cat and/or dog noises to entertain pets... insults... burps... whatever you want.
Also, I know the word GUN is in the title of this thing, but this is a ridiculous and fun toy. I worked hard to make it as absurd as possible. That said, it does have a trigger and a pistol style grip. Do not point this at anyone or anything who is not fully aware of the gag. Don't run down the street with it and point it at a cop. This is really for the dads our there with a sense of humor... and it should be pretty safe for kids too I suppose.
I am tempted to publish a backup of my Fusion 360 project because I'll probably never actually make any of the improvements I talk about and you might... so maybe if anyone asks I'll add that on there somewhere.
