So some time ago I bought the cheapest Delta printer on ebay, just to see what you get. I was surprised that a company (Which as since dissappeared) would make something with obviously decent parts, but with some significant shortcomings on the software side that made the printer useless.
I have since ripped out the really nice STM32f Controllwer board, which had the worst firmware ever, and could not be upgraded easily. And replace it with a standard MKS Base gen_L. This has made the printer completely usable and indeed a pleasure to use!
BUT one thing that I found annoying was that the standard PSU whilst rated OK, as not fan cooled, and runs very very hot. I've since mounted a couple of 40mm fans underneath which work well but because of height restrictions, does not vent very well.
So this mod is a very simple foot that fits under the base of the vertical support plates, and lifts the printer up enough to encourage cooling.
