The Extra Flugzeugbau EA300 is a two-seat aerobatic monoplane capable of Unlimited category competition. It was designed in 1987 by Walter Extra, an award-winning German aerobatic pilot and built by Extra Flugzeugbau.

Hawks of Romania is a civil aerobatic display team flying 4 Extra 300L and one Extra 330SC aircraft. The team had another Extra 300L as a spare. All airplanes are paint in yellow, red and blue colors (Romania flag colors).
The team is formed in 2007, as within the Romanian Aero Club has some formation flying teams before, but none of them were official and named.
