The Tree of Life in the exhibition site of Expo 2015 is one of the iconic elements of the exposure of Milan and the symbol of the Italian Pavilion. The tree of life is an architectural work 37 meters high, made of steel and wood and is located in the middle of Lake Arena, in front of Palazzo Italia. The installation created by the creative direction of Marco Balich and the design of the Studio Giòforma (Christian Peak, Florian Boje and Claudio Santucci) was made by the Consortium "Pride Brescia". The work of art is, at the same time, sculpture, installation, building and monument, with clear references to the Italian Renaissance and the pavement structure of Piazza del Campidoglio in Rome created by Michelangelo in the sixteenth century.
During the days and nights of Expo 2015, the Tree of Life will be the star of shows of light and water, accompanied by music of the iconic Italian culture.

At the end of the event it will probably be dismantled and reused in the city of Brescia
