New National Stadium for Argentina. Located in the capital, Buenos Aires, the stadium is named after the area it is in. The stadium holds 100,000 people making it the worlds 3rd largest football stadium. The lower tier is massive, holding 48,033 seats, the middle tier has 2,208 box seats (138 boxes), 10,524 business seats and 408 seats in the 'Cuadro de honor'. On one side there is a second row of boxes above the first with a restaurant, media centre and TV studio's in it. The top tier has 38,471 regular seats and 384 press seats (Although this can be incresed for bigger games). There are 134 wheelchair spaces and 134 helpers seats at the top of the lower tier, creating a total capacity of 100,296 plus restaurant and second-level box seats. There is a moat between the pitch and first row but unlike most stadium moats it allows spectators into it. the lower tier is accessed from the top (Like the city of manchester stadium) and also the bottom (Like the grolsch veste) with steps leading into the moat where there are spectator facilities and entrances and exits. The stadium would support any bid from the country to hold the rugby or football world cups in future. The seats are plain white and sky blue and the facade features a pattern with the same colours, the roof is a light membraine structure supported from below.
