This is a mod I did to change the cutter mount to allow for tighter cuts as well as a way to swap between the needle cutter and a Neje 30 watt or the new 40 watt laser. This uses a leftover 2020 vslot section as the vertical slide track and uses 4 rollers. I will be cutting it down to size later. I also switched from the 3 roller x axis slide to a 4 roller. For the cutter I reused the assembly from a previous build that was glued to the z axis slide then drilled to match the roller bolt. The slides used and and the laser mount use eccentric nuts to tighten the rollers to the rails. The x plate has a raised section to allow for clearance for the boltheads ( I used large nuts on mine but fixed the issuse here). I used a larger hs-81 17 gra, servo but a 9 gram should work as well as the slide has very low friction. I attached it to the 2020 with 3mm screws and t-nuts (printed or steel, your choice). I have not included the servo mount as I lost the file but if I find it I will post it up. I used a simple pushrod with a easyconnector to allow for fast adjustment of the height. The laser mount uses a 3 mm t-nut to set the height of the slide , then you can also adjust with the laser mount. You will require 5 more rollers for the cutter mod and 4 more for the laser mount if you want. I used 5mm x40mm bolts, washers and nuts for the rollers but 35mm bolts would be better. I modified bit and peices from the following things to make up my mod, so I would like to thank the designers! I cannot get the remix button to actually work so will list them here.
