A Space Marine Tactical Marine proxy model for Epic scale games (40k or armageddon etc).
[update 20190813: managed to clear the old and upload the new. all model remixed/refixed.]
[update 20190613: got myself a photon relatively recently. pic 1 is some of the new resin prints.]
[update 20171027: have managed to netfabb all my 'recentish' files so everything back to the knights basically. including these chaps. plus new file or two added and everything renamed a bit as well.]
[update 20170909: added 'no weapon' model for use as pilot/gunner etc]
This is a reworking of the fractalnoise tactical space marine (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:620555) as a low-poly model. The fractalnoise marine is truly one of my favorite models and i've printed hundreds of them for my armies. (in a burst of 'that would be right' i'm pretty much done printing my armies now that i've finished the variants [sigh].)
i wanted to be able to repose them for another project, and thought i may as well drop them in here too.
note: the imperial guard infantry model (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2413170) was the first of this series. tactical is the second release. termis will be third. then some orks, necrons and chaos a bit later.
testing pics: the A,B, C was me testing my models against the original. A is the original fractal stl, B is my remake and c is the guardsman to test scale. A and B are effectively identical on a low-res printer. so 5 by 5.
the yellow marines have new sergeants using the new poses.and so far i have managed to curb the ocd and not add in new poses for everyone else.
