Slightly more skookum replacement Y Carriage for Creality Ender-4. Has an 2020 X-axis bar guide on bottom with basicly 0 tolerance fit to really ensure it remains straight and removes, atleast helps to, remove the typical H-Bot rotational torque wobble.
It has tight fit, and then some with basicly crush fitting, so really tighten well those T-nuts, this takes all play from it away. Infact when assembling the X axis went directly to straight by accident, i kinda even forgot i need to check for that.
I also made the wheel bearing distance 0.5mm tighter than supposed to be extra certain, so assemble with eccentric nuts all the way out. I used a pen to mark which side is furthest away.
Also check your eccentric nuts, many of what creality supplies is not very eccentric at all.
This is based on the original measurements then small changes.
Two versions:
Skookumified: slightly too large, you need to slightly re-adjust the microswitch level for X end stop to work because the belt's crimp will touch the belt pulley. This is what i use myself.
More skookum: Slightly changed dimensions so no need to microswitch changes, few mm smaller, few mm different position for the belt pulleys. This is to be considered V2 but is untested so far.
PLEASE NOTE that i did not fix the geometry issues on these versions yet. The front side pulleys are not aligned with the carriage.
Uses original hardware. I do recommend adding a few washers on top side tho.
ALSO NOTE Ender-4 is NOT Core-XY but H-Bot. This will not completely solve the racking issue, i was hoping the guides would be enough, but ABS is too soft of an material.
