(Optional Intro) If I was single I wouldn't have paper towels at home, thus I would have no use for a paper towel dispenser. But I do have one and mounting the dispenser vertically is a real space saver in my kitchen. Gravity, however, doesn't treat this arrangement kindly. Much of the time it causes the paper to droop and unravel sadly from the roll, reducing some of that space saving I craved. Also, it's rather unsightly. Hopefully, this end cap fixes at least one of life's vexing issues.
The end cap is designed for a Kamenstein Perfect Tear Wall Mount Paper Towel Holder and has an inner hole diameter of 1.55".
