An enclosure the fits a Raspberry Pi 1B and a power supply for it (like this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/EU-Plug-White-For-Samsung-Galaxy-S4-Micro-USB-Data-Cable-Home-MGAC-Wall-Charger-/231625043146?hash=item35ededacca:g:jd8AAOSwHnFVqKuG).
My dogs had fitbit zips for christmas. For those of you who don't know the fitbit concept, it consists of a range of different performance trackers and a social media where you can share your achievements with your friends. The zips that I gave my dogs are just a pedometer. To sync the individual trackers with the webside you either use a phone or conputer with bluetooth. The problem is then, that you have to log in as all the individual users in other to sync everyone of the tracker... that is really anoying and take so much time.
Luckily there is an opensource project that allows you to sync any tracker in range (https://bitbucket.org/benallard/galileo). I installed galileo on a rpi with an attached motion sensor (from now on refered to as "the sync station"), and placed it next to the dogs water bowls. This way, everytime the dogs goes to the water bowl, their trackers will automatically be synced, and I (being friend with my dogs) can see how much they have walked and thereby see if they need more for dinner.
Though this design has been made for a very specific purpose, I reckon that theenclosure can be used for many different application. Therefore I have also uploaded a lid for the enclosure without the pir sensor.
