Leominster is a small market town in the Northern part of Herefordshire county in the West of England near the Welsh border. Drapers Lane is a pedestrian alley running from the Corn Square to the Buttercross that probably dates back a few hundred years. In places it is less than three metres wide. Near the Corn Square end of the lane is the Emporium Tea Room and the View clothing shop. Much altered, this building of late 15th/early 16th century date is jettied along the side, supported on massive joists over a narrow alley. On the ground floor it has been built forward with 18th century shop-fronts, but was originally jettied, with a pair of late medieval shop-fronts.
