When we tested the machine in our lab we figured that there should be a kind of cover plate holding the pipette tips in place. The cover I designed makes inserting pipette tips into the pipette box way easier. It is attached to a comb aligning the sorting device with the box which additionally facilitates the insertion process.
With just a little bit of practice you will be faster than your colleagues sorting pipette tips by hand and with 'Elster' it's way more fun.
