Your personalized 3D printed FPV quad and hexa for developers and hackers. Totally open source for all codes, firmware and hardware, a new-born aerial photography and videography platform for experiment and shares.
The 3D printed parts consist of: the mechanical structure shell, the motor mounts and supports. I redesigned and debugged the defective parts to make it perfect suitable for ELF Drone: the palm-sized drones that can carry 720v cam. There's no screws, soldering or glue needed. The motors just fit well and will not snap or get loose from the mounts. I used ABS/PLA to print the kit. It is swift, easily-controlled, able to be flied indoors and out. It’s entry-level for anyone to be good piloting.

I initially wanted to make a simple flying electronics board that everyone can add their custom cover on to it. It should be much of fun and I am continuing sharing development experience at my site: http://www.elecfreaks.com/. Anyone is welcome to drop butt-kicking comments. I am generally trying to add augmented reality functionality to this 3D printed flight gadget.
Thanks everybody for the interest. We're crowdfunding on Indiegogo 12/03/2015 - 11/05/2015. This is the campaign page link: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/elf-open-share-3d-vr-nano-drone
Pls help to make it happen.
